I've been meaning to write another story (or 2) and I have to say that this year especially it has been on my mind.  Mostly I think because I am a mom to a pre-schooler and I know that much of what I draw from as a mom is what I've observed in other great moms.  Often, I wish for you to be here to give me advice and I long to see you with your girls and helping them through life.  Your birthday passed (Christy day!) and it was a reminder of our '29 forever' birthday we spent in Vegas.  I think such happy thoughts on your birthday and remember your fun spirit.  I think how just a trip to the store could be a good time with you and a memory (Breyer's ice cream, anyone?)  You were the keeper of my secrets, my sounding board, playmate and a pretty good cheerleader in tough times. I can't help but think about you when I get together with Julie and Natalie (and come up soon, in Vegas of course).  I've only tried to describe in words what many people do when they come to this site and it doesn't seem to be enough.  I have prayed and thought about your girls often and hope someday to see them again and answer any and all questions they have about their mama.  They are now the age we were when we met.  I can only hope they have found a 'soul friend' that can help them thru the coming years and beyond, such as I did.  Miss and love you Tootie.
